Recycle it and stop looking for compensation for everything.

I was commenting on what YOU wrote.
That it was personally offensive. That you have assumed I'm the kind of person that seeks compensation "for everything".

Your unnecessary nastiness speaks far more of your character than it does mine.
But it seems trying to bully strangers on the Internet is what gets you off.

Now you're just being boring. Welcome to my ignore list.

    Colin-maybe.
We'll thanks for the unnecessarily rude reply.
I'm not looking for compensation and say nothing of the sort in my post.
I have an old Blackberry with a swollen battery, but you can remove the battery and keep the phone.
Throwing an entire phone away when it cost hundreds seems a bit much.
Perhaps I pay for a battery but they fit it for free?
My post just asks what is fair.
You can't ask anything on this forum anymore without a nasty reply..
I couldn't see his reply, because I blocked him some time ago for being rude... ;)

    Have done the same.
    Unpleasant and unnecessary.

Dont have to reply to said comment.

Why not take it to John Lewis and see what they say.

Really? Sorry, but it obviously made more of an impression on you than it did me.
