Absolutely. With identity theft being splashed across the papers, I'm suprised many people respond to questions from a caller claiming to be from a financial institution.
I've had several farcical conversations where both the caller and I have been asking each other to prove who we are. They refuse because of the Data Protection Act and I refuse because I'm being wary of rogue callers.0
