NCP Birmingham NCP Airport £56 for 2hours

If you book NCP at Birmingham Airport and opt for Flex Plus thinking you can amend and cancel up to 2 hours before booking beware. This probably applies to all other NCP airport car parks as well.
My flight has changed by 2 hours in May so I tried to change car park entry and exit by same amount and was told that if I wanted to change it would cost me £56 because prices had gone up!! The agent told me I would be better off hoping I got within the 3 hour grace window or paying £18 penalty on the day for being outside the 3hour window. They said that under their terms and conditions they could charge despite no mention of it on my paperwork!!
What I should have dome when I made the original booking was use the full 24hrs of the 8th day up and then I could have been 15 hours late and not be charged:mad: I am fighting this as I think it is a complete Con! I purchased Flex Plus for exactly this reason and to find out it is not worth the paper it is written on makes me . For clarity I am not changing the dates just the time. Originally it was 3am in the morning and now it is 5am. If I had been changing dates I would still not be happy but it would be more understandable.
If you book an NCP carpark book your full day ie arrival time same as depart that way you will not be caught by this Con.

Well its not a "con", is it? Prices went up. Nor is it £56 for an extra 2 hours.
Look at cheaper parking next time, I used a place at Hams Hall last time I went there, although I was coming from Sheffield so it was the correct side of the airport.0 -
So if you purchased a "fully flexible product" from your Hams Hall car park and your flight changed and when you rang up to change your pick up time and they said your booking is" no longer flexible" because we have put prices up since you booked you would be happy then? No wonder companies can get away with these practices when people like you find them acceptable.0

Every single product I have every purchased through the Holiday Extras website (lounges, car parking) has allowed me to amend or cancel, they even let me change the days and airport for both when Monarch went bust. So I have had fairly good experiences.
As for your issue, the fact remains it isnt costing £56 for an extra 2 hours. At best it will cost you nothing (you mentioned the grace period), at worst it will cost you the normal daily rate of £18 (?) when you get back.0
