OP you have not told the whole story, answer the question, how many miles in 3 months???
As above call them to clarify their justification, I suspect your under estimating your mileage to reduce your premiums, which if you have a black box, could have led to your insurance being cancelled."It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"
