try getting a thin piece of metal and put it between the window seal (with the window down)and try getting the dent out that way, saving you taking the door card off.this is how the dent master type guys would do it.
other than this im sure there is a plastic cap over the screw on the door handle and the window winder will have either a clip behind it or a cap with a screw....work permit granted!0 -
There will be hidden screws, you have to look for small plastic panels on the winder or on the door release, inside the arm rest "handle" bit, you use a screwdriver to pry the plastic cover off to reveal the screws.
The door lock itself (the bit that goes up and down) will be another point of frustration, usually lift the lock up and look for a small (tiny) panel on the lock itself use a screwdriver to pry it out screw will be behind. You may not have a screw here though.
However, once you have it off, you will see a plastic sheet barring you from reaching the door panel, you can cut it off but it is there for a reason, it stops the water from the window from entering the car.
Do you really want to remove that sheet and not be able to replace it? You could punch a small hole in it and push a wooden rod through to push out the dent though.
Also the window mechanism inside might itself stop you from reaching the dent where you would need to push on it.
Good luck.
Ps if you put a photo link here, I'll take a look and tell you where to look.0 -
Might be worth getting some sort of anti-corrosive stuff at the reverse side of the metal too? Waxoyl, dynax s50, or underbody seal (would probably help reduce road noise a little)?
Surely the plastic membranes are designed to be removable and replaceable?! Do they really easily damage?0
