AOL problem tonight

Is anyone else having problems with AOL tonight. I logged on at 5:00 and was disconnected after 5 mins and then struggled to get a connection. Sometimes I could get google open but couldn't get on to any sites from there. The AOL interface was very slow in opening as well. I've tried it wirelessly and from my desk top with and without a router and have tried many shutdowns but if I get connected at all it disconnects after about 5 minutes.

I have today agreed to take a new package with them for £9.99 instead of £24.99. Is this a coincidence or could they be doing something to my connection.

Did they change the line speed at all? What price plan are you on?

I've been on AOL for over a year (also on £9.99 Platinum) and recently have had a few problems with disconnections but the speed has been ok (so far).

Try a speedtest and post the results here.

mines been on since about 1600hrs with no probs at all.

aol silver service 2mb.

I'm on aol gold, speed is up to 8mb but max for line is 4mb. I phoned them for a mac code to go to sky and they offered me the £9.99 for 18months. I'm at work at the moment so can't do any checking
