I would suggest getting a valuation when you get married, as "It is important to realise that you and your spouse or civil partner may only have one private residence between you whilst you are 'living together'. " rather than when you rent out the property (should that occur at a later date) . My understanding is that GCT will then be calculated on the rise in value from the time of this valuation.Alice Holt Forest situated some 4 miles south of Farnham forms the most northerly gateway to the South Downs National Park.0
