Mobile phone insurance

Hi all,

Are there any no fee bank accounts that offer mobile phone insurance?

I know that Nationwide's FlexPlus account offers many insurance benefits, but this has a fee of £13 per month.

thanks in advance!

  • Not free of charge no.

Where would be the markup in offering it for free?
  • Does your home contents insurance not already provide the cover you need?
  • Home contents insurance I’m not sure... will have to check this. Thanks for the reminder!

Or just look after your phone.

Mine last for years and get used until they become obsolete or physically wear out. In the past 20+ years of carrying a mobile I have never broken or lost one.

Banks don't give this away as it is a main hook to get people to pay for their accounts.

    Or do this.

Why not put x amount away each month and if you happen to break it and theres not enough saved up well you have 2 choices, get a creit card to buy 1 or go for buy a cheaper phone.
