    Morning all
We still have the sun too :j.
The BBQ at DD's was lovely yesterday, but I ate too much :D. I will be back on the diet about Wednesday at this rate .
Today Mr Fix It and I will be cooking ready for tomorrow/ Monday. He's going to make one of his curry specials so I expect will be his sous chef and DW filler :rotfl:. I will cook the turkey and pork.
I am hoping to get out into the garden this afternoon with my book, then later I will hide all the Easter eggs for the hunt tomorrow. ( BTW they are not real choc eggs but plastic ones with messages inside.)
Last thing tonight I will set the table and bring down the emergency chairs and prep the veg.

Nice to see you posting Holly. Take care of yourself and enjoy the weather.
SilverOldie hugs to you and DM.
Gers I shall send healing vibes to your DM.
I hope everyone can enjoy some sunshine today.

Take care and hugs to all

Morning all lovely day here again. Can't go far as John is still taking it steady and can't drive yet. We are enjoying sitting in the garden. The back lawn was cut by a local gardener at eye watering expence on Thursday. It was long but even so. I will be doing it myself next time.

Nice to hear from you Holly and take care. TA sounds like you had a busy time at the caravan.

    Enjoy the sun today folks.

  • Another lovely day....OH out in the garden, decided to put the new arch together, did not make the same mistake as I did the last time. It is not 'in situ' waiting for the roses to grow, although they wont do much until we have had a decent amount of rain.

Pulled rhubarb, its in the oven cooking, we had some last week, just with brown sugar, ginger and a blob of ice cream, very nice too.

Hi everyone ….just been having a catch up with my lunch. Went for coffee with my mam and dad then had some stuff to do on computer for school on Tuesday...my boss fell on holiday and broke her shoulder and will be off for the next three months, so I'm in charge till she's back.
Going down to DDs soon to cut the grass in her back garden with my new strimmer. She did say she'd do it herself but would probably break it or injure herself! Then tonight I'm having baby grand daughter to stay while her mummy has her first night out for a long time. The weather is glorious her again so hoping I might manage an hour outside with my book too.
Hope everyone has a good weekend.
