Unknown CCJ Against Me....

HELP!!!!!!!
Just applied to rent a house and been declined due to a recent CCJ being awarded against me!
I explained that I had no idea of any judgments against my name and insisted it was a mistake. The letting agent then came back adamant that the checks they had ran where correct.
Wound up and concerned I paid to check my name on the government court register..... It came back clear! No CCJs outstanding or Satisfied. I sent this certificate to the letting agents feeling angry but relieved. They came back saying that the was a CCJ against me! So I got the record number.
The is a CCJ registered at my address in a different but similar name to mine! The first name on the judgment is my middle name and the last name is spelt wrong...
Now I’m very confused as to weather I have a CCJ or not and if I do can I appeal to have it taken away??? CCJs are bad news for people saving to buy houses like me 😭

You can write to the issuing court and as what it's for then go from there.0

Gary's right. If you know the issuing court and the court reference you can ask them (email probably best) to send you the particulars of claim.
Take it from there.0
