Resolver - timescale?

Options
Morning all,

I have raised a PPI complaint case with HSBC using resolver and I wanted to see from people's experience how long it typically took to get a response?

This was submitted on 22nd March so almost 4 weeks now, is that normal or do I need to consider chasing?

Anything from a week to a year is typical nowadays.

You should have received confirmation of receipt and explanation of the process within days.
The use of Resolver doesnt speed anything up. In some cases it adds to the delay by introducing another layer.

Working on the likelihood that they've lost it, send your complaint directly to the lender.

If you've heard nothing at all from the Bank, not even an acknowledgement, then there is no point "chasing" via third party Resolver. Send a new complaint direct to HSBC either by post or via their own website.

Sounds more like it's not been received, rather than being "lost"
