Help!!!
I have a NEST thermostat and I have it scheduled to come on at 06.00 and go off at 08.00 then on at 16.30 and off at 20.30.
However, it keeps turning the heating on at 01:00 and setting the temperature at 22c.
Any ideas what is going wring please?
For some reason the learning function seems to think you want the heating on at 1am. You can turn this feature off it's called Auto-Scheduling i think and then it will just go by your scheduled times.
On my one it worked very well and i didn't even set a schedule i just adjusted it manually for a little while and it created a schedule automatically and now i never need to touch it.0 -
I was wondering if my dog was setting it off at night because she sleeps in the kitchen where the Nest is.0

Or edit the schedule its created for you within the app.0

Editing the schedule will not stop the Nest learning and making further changes that are not required by the user.
The user needs to turn off Auto-Schedule to stop the thermostat from learning and only use the times and temperatures programmed by the user.0 -

Nest has in services, a true radiant function setting which allows heating to come on up to 5 hrs before so temp is at correct setting when it is timed to come on. Called preheating.
This is set by default at 5 hrs before.
Can be adjusted to suit user.
