NAtwest Mortage and Equifax

Hi

I recently had an issue with my mortage application. I applied for a mortgage with natwest, AIP OK, valuation OK, and now Natwest told me that my adress history is not up to date on Equifax records. I never had an account with Equifax so I had no idea. Always used Experian. Natwest said they have asked Equifax to update theirs records? Has anyone experienced the same? How loing did it take for Equifax to update their records?

Wouldn't it be better fome me to create an equifax account and update my address history?
