Emulsioned walls are very easy marked, any contact and it will probably show.0

Be VERY careful to read the small print. We recently had furniture delivered. It was stated that we were responsible for protecting the walls, carpets etc etc against the possibility of damage caused during delivery.
I took them at their word and cleared ornaments off the shelves and pictures off the walls. There was no damage so everything is fine.
If Nectar had already asked you to protect your property then I think you have no course of action.0 -

That is ridiculous and I doubt it would hold up in court.
How can you possibly be expected to protect all your walls etc. like that.0 -

Just the way you would if you were carrying the thing to the desired room yourself.0 -

And how would you do that exactly?
We have carried many things into and out of our houses without'protecting' the wals whatever that means! and never damaged anything.
It is called taking care.0 -
I thought I'd update this thread.
After countless back & forward emails to Nectar Sleep, I reached out to citizens advice. They sent a very informative & helpful email back which, summarised, read that it was entirely Nectar Sleep's responsibility as I had no contract with, and no choice but to use, the appointed couriers.
Whilst they still accept no liability, they have just transferred the money to me to cover the labour to reinstate my plasterwork back to what it was prior to the mattress delivery.
Thank you to those that took the time to help me on this thread, as always it's much appreciated"Science is a wonderful thing if one does not have to earn one's living at it" Einstein 19510
