Your claim for medical expenses will be dealt with by a different section to that which will deal with any claim for the loss of some of your holiday. So, they will not be able to confirm whether you can claim for that.
Your policy document will give details of who to call regarding that claim. It will be different contact details and may be two separate claims.0 -
i Mark,
If you read my response to the post endorsing TIF, you will hopefully agree that I took some trouble not to respond in a confrontational way but in a measured way considering the repeated endorsements of this organisation who have blighted so many lives. Well ... I did the best I could. But that didn't stop the misguided attacks.
The idea that under these circumstances I should receive two unwarranted attacks for simply taking the trouble to offer information about the group being endorsed by a poster - simply to ensure that people buying travel insurance do so in an "informed" way - is I think a reason why people who give their time and can offer genuine help to others do not bother and simply give up.0 -
Could anyone help me understand, the link mentioned Boots and The Post Office is mentioned in an earlier comment here. Are these the only two sellers of TIF policies?
Just so I can avoid them!0 -

I did a search a while back. Some of the insurers that are a part or are handled by TIF. I missed the Post Office. Recently they gave been remvong any mention of TIF from their their web sites.
