ECHST.NET Showing in pending bank transactions

I've had, once buying airline tickets and once obtaining a refund in store at Tesco ECHST.NET for £2.00. The 2 does not get taken but is sitting alongside the expected transaction(s).

The Ryanair one, when clicked on using banking mobile app, shows the full pending amount for the expected airline ticket charge.

Does anyone know why I'm seeing this ECHST.NET?

I’ve had the same situation recently while sending money. ECHST provides safe transactions for different companies, probably that’s why we have seen it on our smartphones. I had no idea what is that either. As far as I understood, nothing to worry about.

I see a mention of ECHST on your site. I have been receiving unsolicited !!!!!! pics from this company. I rang them. They can find nothing under my mobile number nor names so how can I stop these pop-ups? My friend thinks someone is going this to me.

Hi! I had a similar experience with my bank app and ECHST.NET. I called customer service and they explained that it's just an authorization hold for the expected transaction amount. The hold will drop off after a few days. In the meantime, you can still use your card for other purchases. Thanks for sharing and I hope this helps!
