We are going to Orlando shortly on holiday. There is an app in the American App Store that that my nephew wants which is free but it isn’t available in the uk App Store.
Will he be able to buy it and download it in the USA and will it work in the uk when he gets back?

This may have changed, as I haven't used an Apple device in ages (an article I just read said it is still possible) - but it used to only depend on the country your Apple account was assigned as, not your actual location.
