Can't make out what any signs say. Your car is the red one on the notice but we can't make out the times of those two photos either.
What was the PCN for, then, as you say the car was only there 39 minutes, were you meant to get a ticket to 'claim' that free time, or a permit?I have received a final reminder letter for this company about oweing £100 for allegedly overstaying in a carpark, the car park states there is 45mins free and on the letter they sent the time stamp states 39mins.

so the time stamps on the letter was 13:15 til 13:54. From what the entry sign states its for those local shops. checking the surrounding area, there was no ticket machine which was really confusing and no cars had tickets. If you look at the Sar coupon theres more alleged evidence they provided which conflicts all of their other evidence.
Ive uploaded better photos.0 -
The PCN says ''time of issue'' was just after 9am in the morning yet the two photos are only 35 mins apart.
So have they provided other photos taken in the morning?
Or is the time of issue underneath the date of issue of the notice itself?
Think about (but don't tell us here in public!) whether the driver was a patron of Chamberlains, or were they in a shop or at the cashpoint?
Don't answer, just think it through as to why your car was picked out on CCTV.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

the time of issue is for this specific PCN. Okay I understand what you mean, they're very sneaky with using retail units.0

I agree this is a sneaky trap - there is a cashpoint and shops there and it looks like the signs face away from some of the bays.
Your main defence will be the lack of clear signs.
I'd take a passenger to record a video (or use dashcam footage) to show what the place looks like as you driver in - but do NOT park, just drive round taking video footage then leave. Zoom in on any signs facing the wrong way and any shop advertising signs & hoardings that overpower and obscure the PPC's sneaky signs.
Paint a video picture of non-prominent terms, so that a Judge will agree with your side. Show how it looks like shop parking, how would you know it's just for a pretty *invisible* unit above with CCTV trained to catch people caught in this concealed trap.PRIVATE 'PCN'? Thanks for making me realise, I will definitely collect more evidence because im sure this company has stung others by doing this wordplay.0
