    Precisely, dealer/manufacturer contributions have nothing to do with the finance provider. Once you've cancelled and paid what you owe to the finance co. the matter is closed.

    Unless your contract to purchase specifically states that contributions are repayable on cancellation then legally there's nothing the dealer can do, and frankly they don't really care as the number of customers doing this is pretty insignificant.
