LIFT Scheme - buying out the remaining equity...

I bought my flat two and a half years ago on the Scottish first time buyer shared equity scheme known as LIFT.
I'm at a position now where I believe my income would meet the affordability criteria to increase my mortgage to allow me to buy the government's 40% equity in my flat.
Has anyone here bought their property via the lift scheme and later bought out the remaining equity (or even some of it)? If so, what was your experience? Was it straightforward? And how much did you have to pay in fees? (House valuation, legal fees and admin fees)
