Buying a new car

Good evening all,

Just a quick one, I'm buying a car and have the cash sitting for the purchase, it's just over 15k.
I normally put all my spending on AMEX as the points are really good. Alas the dealer doesn't accept AMEX, does anyone have suggestions whereby I could get a bit cash back or a Brucie bonus, different credits cards etc?

Thanks all.

Have you asked the dealer which cards they accept??

I've spoken to two Nissan dealers in the last 2 weeks - both said that they could only take £1K on a credit card.

We got SWMBO's brand new car last Friday. PXed her old car, paid £100 on credit card (for the S75 protection) and paid the balance on debit card.

We weren't so bothered about loyalty points - we simply wanted the S75 protection as we bought from Arnold Shark. (I know, I know - but they were local and price-matched the best Carwow deal I could find).
