Do discount codes affect customs?

I recently bought some items online, and I'm most likely going to have to pay customs charges for them. Normally they would cost over £100, but i used some discount codes and got them for cheaper. Would the customs charges be based on the price of the purchase before or after the discount was applied? If i have to pay customs based on the full price I'm worried i won't be able to afford it.

You should pay on the price you paid, providing that is the value the seller declares on the paperwork.0

Actually depends on the way in which the retailer bills.
I know I used one in the US and it would bill list price on the customs declaration - hard one to argue and the cost to dispute was pretty much the same as the difference0 -

for it to not be liable for duty. It will need to be under £15.
So whats the difference between full price and what you paid?0 -
If it's coming from China you might not have to pay any taxes’ as they tend to lie on the declaration & in my experience customs can be naive and believe what’s written (most recently, two weeks ago I bought an ultrasonic cleaner form AliExpress in a sale & despite the box clearly saying what it was customs accepted the 5 ($ or £) as the value.0

When they process it, it will be calculated based on the declared value.
However if you send them your invoice (with the price you actually paid for the item & shipping) along with the packaging it arrived in, they will refund the difference. Not sure if the address has changed in recent years but it used to be the mount pleasant address. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
