Ceiling cracks

Got the buyers surveyor coming tomorrow and I have some ceiling cracks not all over just odd rooms will it make a difference getting anxious 😦

    It’s a old cottage that was extended in 1984 the cracks on the ceiling there’s nothing built above it it’s a single pictched extension

    If the cracks are more or less in a straight line, and especially if two meet at right angles, it's probably bad jointing of the plasterboard, which isn't much of a problem and can be fixed.

    Yes they are thin cracks that go in a straight line across the ceiling and some meet at right angles , I have one upstairs that goes across the ceiling but the ceiling is papered so it shows up more
