warrant served

After proceeding with the reclaiming process against Royal Bank Of Scotland I received judgment on 25/7/07 ( 2 days before the stay was implemented,i believe)
On 7/8/07 the bailiff was instructed to remove goods for non payment.
Since that date I have not heard any information, neither can I get a return call from the bailiffs office to find out what happened.
Has anyone else experienced this problem & can anyone advise as to what my position might be.

are the bailiffs instructed by a solicitors company? If so, you could try and contact them. If not, make sure you make a record of each call you make to the bailiff; if you call on a line where the call appears on a statment eg BT landline etc, at least you can proved you tried to contact them. And maybe try writing them a letter and get a certificate of posting at the post office? I would say that the bailiff should have called by now..have you tried contacting RBS about it?
It's not a bargain if you don't need it...
  • The bailiffs were appointed by the courts.
I'm not sure as to the position regarding the stay,is it legal to impose the stay even after judgment is granted or should this have been settled.
