Are Motability cars negotiable in price or are they all a standard price ?
The reason for this question is that when I bought my last new car - AFTER I had negotiated a discount - I was asked whether it was on Motabilty or self financed !
If it had been on Motability, could I have negotiated any "extras" to bring it back up to the normal retail price - such as upgraded spec ?

AFAIK Motability is a lease scheme, so I don't understand your dealer's question. https://www.motability.org.uk/about/about-the-scheme/
