    Morning campers !!!
I had a bit of a disaster .... story of my life :rotfl: .... with a snapped washing line yesterday. Luckily I was holding the snapped end when it went, so I managed to keep the clothes from being face down in the garden. I shouted for Mr Fix It and between us we rerouted the line through the whirly :j.
I also cleared / tidied one corner of the garden, now I'm not afraid of finding David Bellamy coming out of the undergrowth .
Dad, DD and the DGC are coming for Sunday lunch, but not DSiL as he has gone to watch his beloved Liverpool play. I'll do some extra for Jasper the hoover, although he was looking a bit podgy on Friday........ I'm under strict orders not to give him any biscuits :naughty:. That's going to be hard when he gives me those sad doggy eyes :(.
We are having roast chicken, roasties, roast parsnips, carrots and broccoli etc.. and I have made peaches in jelly with custard/ ice cream for dessert. I don't know if DD will stay for tea as DGD has a bit of a temperature this morning, so we will play things by ear.
Right I must get on and prep the potatoes ( I did the parsnips and carrots last night ) then extend the table, ready for laying. It's fine for 4, a bit of a squeeze for 5, but 6 will have us sitting on each others laps if it's not extended . I'll get Mr Fix It to bring the emergency chairs down from the office too ( a la Peter Kay :rotfl: )
    Have a good Sunday.

Take care and hugs to all.

    nan xx

    Morning :)

Lovely Sunday lie in and if I hadn't have needed tea would still be there. So cold outside of bed but determined the heating is not going back on so some cosy fleecy pjs are the other option.

Mad busy cleaning day yesterday so not much that I have to do today but I quite fancy decluttering two annoying cupboards ...the under stairs and the airing cupboard.

Yesterdays doner kebab was a real success ...plenty left so thats tonight sorted. Going to make some rocky road today ...mum loves it so it will be better than an easter egg she wont be interested in.

taff struggling to imagine orange and black curtains

Lainey good to see you hows Lu?

Are we missing TA? maybe she went to the van with her daughter

Anyway have a lovely chilled Sunday all

Good, thanks for asking Nels we had a lesson on Friday when we were doing 3 looped serpentines over some poles, something to get her little horsey brain working hard and we both enjoyed it. She has come so far in the year or so that I’ve had her, am a very proud horsey Mum :D

Afternoon all. Cold here today and there is more cloud about. The wahing is on the line and beef, onions and mushrooms are in the slow cooker for a pie tonight..

John is making a model warehouse for his layout on the coffee table. DS took him out for breakfast at the local 'spoons earlier and I pottered about doing housework.

Well hugs to all and have a nice Sunday.

Good afternoon all, cold, breezy and sunny here, so I've got some washing out.
Nanny, I had a washing line disaster a few weeks ago, 2 full lines out and the hook at one end of the line pulled out!! I could have cried! I said some words that I didn't learn at my Mother's knee. Anyway DH helped me to get the stuff off the line, then he did a repair which is still holding, thank heavens.
Tidied the garden this morning, it was a disgrace, and DH took the bags of bits of plant that I'd cut back, and bits of general rubbish straight to the tip.
Gammon steak for tea, haven't had that for a while.
    Hope everyone is ok

Kind of like this Nelski, dyed bright orange or a deep reddish colour with about say about a foot to 18 inches on the bottom dyed black...
