most durable exterior paint

I need to paint the exterior of my flat which due to its height (cost of scaffold etc) isn't a regular occurrence. I would like views as to the most durable paint for wood and masonry. I have read lots of contradictory reviews and appreciate it is often a personal choice. I would ask a professional painter but I don't know any.
Does anyone have any recommendations based on personal experience?

Sandtex for walls. Any gloss paint from dulux or crown. Pref exterior range.0

The Dulux Weathershield gloss for wood & metal is a good all rounder for everything but the walls. I've even painted plastic gutters with it to good effect.
For masonry I have never seen much point in spending a bomb on stuff like Sandtex, Wickes own brand masonry paint is perfectly good stuff. As with any painting, the key is in the prep.0
