    You clearly believe you have a case and obviously don't like the answers / opinions you have received which differ to your view. Thats reflective in your patronising response about knowing better than the police.

    Those that have responded, myself included have assumed that as you asked a question, you wanted advice to form a way forward. However you don't seem to like the answers and are obviously very well informed by the police (who seem to be also trained in housing matters which is quite unusual)

    So what is the purpose / do you aim to achieve by this thread as you seemingly already know the answer? (Legitimate question.... I don't know what answer you are seeking)

    If LLs were responsible for compensating us for losses we wouldn't bother to pay for insurance or lock our doors when we went out.
