I have £3.85 in my account and I only use the Dartford crossing once every 5 years I don't really want to top up £10 for the sake of 15p so I plan on closing the account which will take a week or so.

In the mean time Can I still pay at a payzone point while I still have an online account?

I don't know the conflicts invloved will I get a penalty charge for going 15p in debt? Or if I paid for a single journey at payzone point will they used that 'credit' against my number plate ?

You can't have 2 accounts linked to the same car so I'd be surprised if they would let you pay one for a car on account. Phone them and they will put a nonsense reg on your account so you can pay at a shop.
