Bit of advice please. We left the bath 36 hours to dry out and the silicone is now on and drying nicely. The silicone suggested above was used.

I've now noticed another issue. For reference, this is a shower over a bath. Half way up between the bath and shower head is the taps for the shower. A drip of water appears to be collecting at the base of this, and then it's dripping down the wall. The shower hasn't been run in 30 hours (I used it to rinse the bath), so I'm not sure where the water is coming from that is dripping.

It is the thermostatic shower bar that is leaking for clarification. It has been removed and put back on with a clean seal but still dripping small amounts of water

Sometimes you lose the seal if there's too much pressure, or it moves slightly to the side. I normally let rubber washers sit in a mug of hot water for a couple of minutes to make them more pliable.

You can always seal around the fitting with silicone if all else fails.

The main issue is silicone won't stick as it's wet and consistently keeps dripping. The shower hasn't been run for several days now so we aren't sure what's causing the drip. Could it be an issue with the shower bar? It's a Mira Agile ERD and it's leaking from the part that fixes the shower bar to the wall

Ah I see, I misunderstood; then it might be a poor connection to the pipework. I've never installed a wall mixer, I assume it's a compression fitting?

    It's this shower.

I've emailed the company's repairs helpdesk for any advice. I'd like to have a rough idea of what could be wrong if we need to get a plumber out to look at it.

It's most likely the connection to the pipe work if you're getting a drip when it's not in use. That should be relatively simple for a plumber to resolve.
  • Our walls are fully tiled. Will that cause an issue? Your assistance is much appreciated

If the connector is behind the tiles then it might be an issue - hopefully it's not! If you can isolate the water to the shower then you could take a look.
