Affect Energy now Octopuss?

Good Afternoon,
I have been with Affect for two years now, and I find them excellent. I am in credit with them, and I do monthly meter readings which so far is working well financially.
Does anyone know the impact of Octopuss buying them? Who are Octopuss? Besides the fact a creature form the sea with ability to slap 8 people at once!
Should I consider moving providers? Although I doubt anyone can beat the tariff I am on. Added peace of mind is the £250+ in credit I have too.
