Morning all, the bus stopped by again in the night, I'm beginning to dislike catching this bus very much. On the other hand....four fingers and a thumb...Sorry! Love an impromtu Tommy Cooper joke. I think my favourite is the door's ajar.....

Woke up before alarm went off which was good, and after some confusion eysterday when I was told something wasn't happening, when something is actually happening, I'm prepared for the day ahead. Shower, dress and wait around to go is the order of the day, along with a possible side order of a spot of marking out the garden[ no, he has not done anything yet and my plants will need planting out soon]
Ordered my father a part for his strimmer but it hasn't arrived, so I've sent a message to the seller and we'll see what happens now...

Gers, sounds like she's doing well..And enjoy your ome and friends! TA, hope you slept...camelot, and a good ime was had by all! csarina, how are the meds now? redruby, did the car ever get fixed properly? I used to have slow worms in the compost in another house and they were fab, bracelets a go go..speky, hold your horses there, this is only the third date, you don't need to make decisions quickly, take your time...shame about the desert running though :) Nelski, oh well, there's always the weekend, hope your work goes quickly! dumpling, welome to the fab at fifty club! although in my case it's more of a falling apart at fifty club...:) SO, do you have any kind of talking books app? when you go visit, at least there's a noise then, not silence...have a hug. was any of that any use btw? are there any groups near you? snoozer, spank him! nanny, enjoy the day.. AOD, more hugs, with added squishy teddy bears...Yo Holly!! Wotcha absentee...
    First class Firday!

    Greetings all,
I decided to have a morning out at Bury Market so I was out of the door by 8.30. Unfortunately our bus was 20 mins late so I just got the Bury one by the skin of my teeth.I got a new oven glove and 6 oven bottom barm cakes - last of the big spenders me ;) With it being such a lovely day again, what I was really looking forward to was the ride home by a different bus.It takes longer but goes through some villages and the views of the hills and moors are great as it gets quite high as it goes along a Roman Rd. It seems to be clouding over a little bit now :(
I've just had a big bowl of lentil & ham soup I made earlier this week.I've got some breaded chicken(crispbake for DS2) for the men for tea and will look how many spuds I have before I decide what to do with them.I may have one with some salad,or some more of the butternut squash curry I made last night.
Glad Mum is a bit better Gers and enjoy seeing your friends.
Camelot, good to hear you enjoyed yourself.
RRuby, enjoy reptile day! I remember the HTeacher bringing some snakes into Reception when I was working at school- fine as long as they stay in their tank :D
Hope you are feeling ok Taff
I may just take Ly1a out ,she was a bit shortchanged this morning as I was rushing to go out and she didnt finish sniffing every blade of grass :rotfl:
Hope you all have a good afternoon and evening x

Sorry folks! As I usually go home on a Saturday it just came out.

I’m here :j sun blazing, front door wide open, bum in chair and cup of tea in hand. :j:j

My friends dropped in on their way out for a bike ride. I’ll unwind myself by watching the tide come back in. I’ve lit the stove as my stone cottage needs a little heat.

    Hugs to all.

Afternoon all. DD and Dgs came over this afternoon. We sat in the garden for a bit after lunch. John had a nap and dgs played with his lego. It was nice to see them.

John is recuperating well and had a bit of tidy round the kitchen this morning. One of his usual jobs so he feels he is beginning to get back to normal. This is his fourth week after his op.

Gers enjoy your time at home.

    Have a good evening folks.
