I set an account up but as far as I can see it only works for funds, not shares in individual companies. (unless I'm missing something).

Does anybody know if there is a website that will do this for shares like Shell, HSBC, etc?

Dividendmax.com is another site which will give information about individual companies dividends. Although a lot of the functionality requires a paid subscription there is still a lot of info that can be accessed for free including getting notifications of when any shares you have have had a dividend declared.

You can set up a guest account and still have the functionality of the customisable watchlists of various accounts with all the trust data, and the income builder dividend map and diary.
