UKPC Parking ticket - Rushy Green, Catford

Hey all
Looking for a bit of advice, recieved a UKPC parking notice for a carpark (above Tesco in catford if anyone knows the area)
Back story:
2 parking spaces labelled MKONE, the company I work for (Savers) now occupies the store which used to be MKONE

I park there all the time to run down to the store when visiting from another branch to drop off equipment or paperwork ect
I leave my name badge in the window, and confirm parking is allowed with one of the attendants of the shopping centre.

So cut a long story short, did all of the above one day, 5 days later recieved a UKPC for £60.
I'm a store manager of the company, visiting a neighboring store to drop off some bits for them, but alas, a fine to be paid within 14 days.

I'm curious of where I stand. (Apologies for my lack of knowledge, never heard of ukpc before, never had to deal with them before)

Thanks in advance

You are a Store Manager of a company that has a shop there, so simply get the retail park owners or managing agents to order these scams cancelled, and ask how you and other staff can get your VRNs added to the WHITE LIST for the site (the exempt list).

That is the first thing to do. Really complain to the landowner/agents (someone must know who that is, who the lease fees are paid to - that's who is at fault for this scam).

The NEWBIES thread tells you how to appeal, as Plan B within 28 days of the NTK.

  • Thank you so much for your swift and insightful response

I've paid my fair share of warranted parking fines, but this one had me in stitches.

I'll have a Read through the other thread and also try and locate the land owner
As unfortunately, my company is kinda like meh, not our problemo

honestly , we have no idea why the public think they get full internet access on a phone , its a cut down version specially for phones , half the info is missing when you view ebay items on a phone (and I have had arguments with family and friends about this when they cannot see information on ebay that I point out to them) and the same is true for viewing this forum as well
