Making some sympathy cards, I seem to be needing them at the moment .Work has been keeping me busy this week so far. Have been for my own food shopping tonight , no queues again at 5pm. Needed the chemist to pick up prescription, went at lunchtime, walked straight in, there are allowing three people in at a time and you have to stand in certain places .Payday was last a Friday, I paid an extra £150 on CC only £170 left. I will have no credit card left after I have paid that . It will be the first time in at least 13 yrs I will have none. Still got 15 payments on a loan and will then be debt free.I did a survey for government national statistics office , which will earn me a £25 gift voucher .Managed to spend my next gift vouchers I received for Mother's Day online this week and last week. One lot arrived a Monday, the other coming Friday. My DGD got a new cabin bed this week and my DGS was very upset because she had a ladder on her bed and he was older and he should have one. Anyway it would seem his grandad is buying him one as well. I bought and delivered some new bedding for DGD , she was still in the cotbed . They both look like they have grown since I saw them last . They seem to be very happy which I am glad about.I have had lots of conversations with friends , relatives and a MSE friend .My ankle is still bruised but not as sore now, I have still been walking everyday .Going to watch Gilmore girls on Netflix now .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.4

Brilliant re your CC debt. Next year you will be DF too. The end is in sight.
After 5pm seems to be the time to shop. I'll be switching to see if it is the same in my area.
Glad the ankle is healing. If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

We had a Live briefing yesterday from our chief exec who told us that we will we able to weather the financial storm so that's good to know. Also there will be some furloughed staff as their work has dried up now. However they will get 100% of their salary , which is good for them . I am truly grateful for my good employer.I have cut my own fringe this morning , it looks ok to me , hairdresser may beg to differ.I need to look at my budget again as I seem to have missed a couple of Direct debits of my budget.Have a good day everyone.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.4

Good news about your employer being so generous. I know they can top up wages despite putting staff on furlough but a lot won’t.I’ll have to have a go at my fringe soon 😱I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

Yesterday was all about shopping and then waiting in for a parcel. Managed to do a later walk and then sat outside in the communal garden reading.SIL has been furloughed now ,his employers wanted evidence that his wife was a key worker , which they got. He is now off for the foreseeable future but it will be at 100% of salary.DD can now go into work more often and do her visits, I am still worried about her doing visits but at least she isn't in a hospital setting. She says they do have a good level of PPE at the minute.Today I have finally walked around the moss which used to be the colliery , there are lots of footpaths to discover. I had a chat to some other walkers and it would seem I could walk to my daughters who lives on the other side of ten large moss. That's for another day , I have done my 10,000 steps.Plan on doing some housework later but going to read outside again for a while.Have a good day in the sun.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.6
