  • There was a fair bit of snow overnight near me but luckily we escaped without a flake falling .
Today I am taking the GKs swimming , they are looking forward to it, plus my DD is as well being 37 weeks pregnant she enjoys the peace and quiet.
Tomorrow we should find out if the schools are staying closed and what tier we will end up in.
Have been watching The Bridgertons on Netflix , not sure what I think about it.
When I get home I intend watching another film and chilling . Have managed to feel laidback these past few days which I am enjoying.

    Have a good day everyone.

Pleased dd is doing ok....37 weeks already. That has passed quickly although I bet it hasn’t for her.
I wouldn’t be surprised if we’re all in tier 4. The hospitals sound busy 😳

My DS was 2 weeks early, DD was 3 weeks early.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
  • Today I made it to the beauticians for a treat of a predicure which was just lovely, and waxing. I will be chopping my own fringe tomorrow and getting used to the grey hair again. In relation to what is going on this is a small consequence. Glad to hear the children are going back to school Monday , for how long we will see. Let's hope the roll out of the Oxford vaccine puts teachers and all school staff at the front of the queue.
Glad I made the effort to take the kids swimming as well.
We have had freezing fog all day up here but at my parents 4 miles away it was clear.
Got a phone call today from my mum saying the new bathroom cabinet I had ordered for them looked like the paint had all flaked off so would need returning. Upon checking it they had asked me to order a shabby chic cabinet , hence the strange paint situation. It is really nice actually. Got to love them , the parents .
    Have a good evening everyone.

  • I'm glad you had a nice family Christmas Sunshine Girl and a relaxing few days since :). It's a shame your Lakeland trip was cancelled but you can look forward to it next year. I sincerely hope that next year will be a very different experience for us all!

Well done for only putting a pound on at Christmas, I bet not many people can say that. You must be looking forward to the new baby coming :).
