You'd a block a buyer for returning an item that was mis-described? Why?
But did the seller know that the item was mis-described?
In your opening post you stated that the reason given for the return was because it didn't fit so unless you informed the seller of the sizing issue then as far as they would be aware, they did nothing wrong yet still lost out on the original postage.0 -

I described the problem in the comments box, would've thought it's generally common to read buyer's explanation besides the "drop-down" reason.
But if that's the case- no good deed goes unpunished eh.0 -
It's still rolling out across the US , strangely enough paypal seem to be making themselves less and less friendly towards sellers rather than trying to compete. This new rule about not returning fees for any refund reasons is making a lot of sellers consider switching.
Obviously we have no way of knowing how it will work if it ever gets to the UK, but in the US it seems impossible to offer the new system alongside paypal, most sellers are reporting you have to choose one or the other. As with all changes it is a mixed bag, some sellers love it, some hate it, but it is difficult to compare costs with the US system of fees set up so differently to the UK model. At the moment it seems the new system is cheaper even without the new paypal fees , but no doubt once people have switched the pricing structure is bound to change in ebay's favour somehow!
That is awful if that rolls out over here.
I sell a mixture of cheap and expensive things such as laptops, and if that means a return for a £1k computer PP keep their fee, it makes it not worth my while. I receive a number of returns simply because someone doesn't like the computer, or it becomes faulty and never have a problem organising the return for refund. I would seriously consider my business model if that's the case as my profit margins currently are quite tight.0
