Best Joint Accounts

Hi All,
I'm a first time buyer, we have a completion date and our starting to prepare for our big move. When we have been setting up payments (mortgage, insurance, sofa) we have just choosing either mine or my girlfriends debit account as the DD account.
Could anyone suggest the best accounts that offer cash back on these type of payments. I know we will be able to change the payment account at a later date so wan't to try and get ahead.
Doing my research it looks like either Amex, Santander 123 or NatWest could be options but not sure if these allow a second card holder.
Many Thanks

There are no joint credit card accounts. Only one of you will be the account holder.
The best one depended on what you can get and what benefits you value.
Only son payments can be made by card, so you will also want a current account, which can be held jointly.0 -
As above - there are no joint credit card accounts but you can have joint current accounts however, if you chose to opt for the NatWest/Santander options. These might be right for you depending on the types of payments you are wanting to make (Santander 123 will give cachback on a Santander mortgage for example but not others). I personally prefer NatWest and they have a decent switch incentive on at the moment which might be attractive to you.
Just be wary of the implications of linking financially with someone - presumably you are in a stable relationship if you are purchasing a house together and I don't assume to comment on that, but I'm just trying to provide information. Were something to happen and you had a joint account with a substantial overdraft for example, there are plenty of stories on the forums of one person maxing out joint overdrafts and then !!!!!!ing off, leaving the other person (who is fully and jointly liable for 100% of the debt, not just their "half") to sort it out.0 -

The current switch incentive for Natwest is a cool £175...I work within the voluntary sector, supporting vulnerable people to rebuild their lives.

After lots of research and doing some rough calculations I think I will go with NatWest. By the looks of it, Santander only seems worthwhile if you have a mortgage with them!0
