RAM upgrade on Asus Vivobook

I’m thinking of doing a RAM upgrade on an Asus Vivobook X510UA-EJ1227T (model number on underside of it) but so far I cannot find a direct match for this model on the memory sellers’s websites. Obviously it’s very similar to other models.
I’d like to upgrade it to 8gb or more.
Any ideas? Anyone done a recent RAM upgrade? There’s a vid on YouTube about this that’s shows how to physically swap the memory sticks over but I need to be sure of the type and amount of RAM I can put in.
Thanks

for the type, you could always take a stick out and read the label?
from the asus website "up to 16GB DDR4 RAM"......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple

WoW, thanks for the help. I thought, from what I’ve seen, that this was going to be too expensive for me...0

If you aren’t sure, download the utility program from Crucial, it will offer options on upgrading.

Thanks for the suggestions - brill. I'll give the Crucial site a go too.
Meanwhile I've also seen this on CeX
8 GB PC19200 DDR4 2400MHz 260 Pin Memory £30

Does your device expect (or at least prefer) matched RAM sticks in the 2 slots? If not then you could buy the 8GB stick, put it in and have 12GB total.0
