CCJ entered against me by BW Legal

Okay thank you so much!0

Can anyone tell me why I have had 2 claim forms, but only one letter about the CCJ for only one of them?0
-
It's up to the claimant to apply for judgement if the defendant ignores the claim, default ccjs are instigated by the claimant, not the Court
Maybe the second one is on the claimants "to do" pile??
What date was the claim issued?
(If you submit a defence before any request for judgement is made then your defence will trump the request for judgement and there won't be a default judgement made against you - the case would proceed as normal)0 -
No, I don't think anyone can - apart from the Claimant of course.SAfricanGirl wrote: »Can anyone tell me why I have had 2 claim forms, but only one letter about the CCJ for only one of them?
If the Claimant doesn't ask for a Default Judgment, then there will not be a Default Judgment.0 -
ah I see, so they have only asked for a default CCJ for one, but havent got round for the other one. is there still time to save the one they havent sent a CCJ for (even though its passed 14 days)?0

You need to apply urgently to get both set aside and have one hearing about this matter, once you are back in the country.
You need to read all the threads you find when you search the forum for:

I am in the process of this, I am unsure if I need to fill out 2 separate CCJ Set Aside Letters or 1 for both of the CCJ's/0
