Hi, first-time poster here. I've been reading a lot through the MSE forums and i bow to your knowledge
I have a few letters from CCA's which iam trying to deal with. These are in regards to:
Capquest ( for an Egg credit card taken out in approx 2009)
Lowell ( a Littlewoods account approx 2009)
Cabot ( a Capital One credit card approx 2009)
They each state that i can log in with my reference number to manage the account online (ie. make payments)... would it be classed as an acknowledgment of the debt if i sign up to to 'view my account online'?
I ask because i believe these debts are statute barred and do not recall ever making payments beyond 2010.
Bearing in mind the most recent of these letters was from October 2018, is it best just to let sleeping dogs lie or follow them up? None of them are showing on CRA's, I'm starting to think they may have already gone into default/ CCJ and fallen off over the years? (as i have only checked my file on the 3 agencies within the last few months)
Thanks for reading and any help provided.

If you believe them to be SB'd then write to each of the DCA's stating you believe them to be so and await for their followup response0

Thanks, i will do that. Im just worried about opening a can of worms as i haven't heard anything from them for a while and i dont want to get a nasty surprise on my file later down the line. I have no problem dealing with it if needs be.
Its been laying heavy on mind for a while but only one way to find out i suppose.0 -
after calling the 3 DCA's this evening, it turns out all the debts had gone into default and dropped off my file a few years ago. All accounts now closed... time to build up a good quality file0
