Uswitch and Out fox results

Hi


Can someone check the Uswitch comparison for E7 results please? I've used 3000 day and 500 night units, the results are bizarre, wrong amount but sequenced as if they are the correct amount. I've checked my figures against Out Fox's own website which are ok. I think Uswitch are not adding the night units into the totals which means people are thinking they will save money on the tariff. It's been 3 or 4 days now I've emailed and spoken to someone but they tell me I'm wrong.

You need to show the working out that uSwitch and OFtM are showing you. And the tariff name as OFtM has several according to uSwitch.

Then we may be able to help further.

The values at uSwitch seem okay for me. But as uSwitch insists on showing "savings from your current tariff" in the tariff results column, you need to be able to work out what the actual price is.

Do you mean you have done the calculation manually and agree with Uswitch? What amount did you get?


I'm not looking at the savings just the totals for the cheapest tariffs, electric only, all suplliers.


All of the Out Fox totals are showing less than on their site.

Outfox for FIX'D 19x4.0
unit rate 14.2275p
standing charge 11.0250p
3500 units £538.20 inc VAT


The difference (I think) is the 500 units because Outfox charge everything at dayrate. I think Uswitch is missing them out.

Ok just checked them on the laptop, I understand what you mean now about only showing what you save, on the phone it shows total cost. The calculations are correct on the Uswitch site using my laptop so it's a phone mobile site?? problem.

Looks like you found an answer as I did use a PC browser.
I never bother with apps for comparison sites, prefer to use the PC for more flexibility.
