Second hand fridge freezer guarantee

Just a quick question. I had to buy my daughter a second hand fridge freezer from a local retailer's shop yesterday. It came with a 3 month guarantee and I'm wondering if that's correct or if such a guarantee should be longer?

There is no legal requirement to offer any guarantee.
She is protected under the CRA which is her statutory rights.0 -
