We are carrying out security checks on your repayment and will complete them by 23 May 2019. You should allow an additional 5 working days for us to contact you. Please do not call back before then as we will not be able to provide any further update and it could delay the process further. If you make a payment to us in the meantime it may delay your repayment by up to 14 days.

Lvt well mine saying it's been paid but no money anywhere and no help from them

Phoned hmrc yesterday spoke to a very helpful gentleman was told checks take 4 weeks from the date it was pulled out for checks. Ours was pulled on the 16th we were told we should hear before that if they need additional information, proof of tax paid and outgoings etc. if not needed repayment will issued on the 16th or just after. WE HOPE. check the HMRC website it provides all relevant info on self assessment.
Live help read from a script, its best to phone them direct. Don’t get fobbed off.

Submitted 7th. Requested payment on the 9th

Submitted the 6th and requested the 9th as well. Still pending. Done it the same time as my mate and he got his on Tuesday, so here we go with an upto 5 week wait I guess

It’s ridiculous there’s allot getting security checked this year I’ve never known it be this bad

What is it they check exactly ? I thought they all got checked eventually anyway

I’ve no idea what they do exactly I no there in no rush tho to sort stuff out

I've just rung them up today and said I should get mine issued next week! If I don't then I need to ring them back and they will issue it
