So it’s that time of year again!!! From previous years I’ve been commenting I do think a few will see payments by tomorrow morning. Usually it’s in the bank the same day as it says issued, as it’s a day behind on the system. Just for future reference you don’t need to request the payment to your bank as filing your return automatically does this for you. I would think as it’s a bank holiday this weekend most tax returns done before the 10th will be issued before the holidays and the rest starting from next Tuesday onwards. Another note although you file a tax return on the 6th none are processed until the 9th as the system shuts down for 3 days to be updated for the new tax year. Hope that helps!!
