NYA*Mars Wrigley Charge

Does anyone know what NYA*MarsWrigley C CD9484 relates to on a bank statement? I've only been charged 80 pence (!) but like to know exactly where my money is going!

Thanks in advance

Mars as in Mars Bar and Wrigley as in chewing gum; have you bought something of theirs from a store or vending machine perhaps?

I’d agree, the confectionary company is Mars Wrigley.

A contactless payment from a dispensing machine ?
Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill

Good to see someone keeping a close eye on their current account. Much better than some who come here asking what they can do about a DD/SO etc which they've been paying for years because they forgot to cancel it.

I have a friend who applied a materiality rule to checking his bank statements only looking at the big numbers and didn't notice he had been paying the TV license at an old address for over a decade!

Its alright he's a long term Microsoft employee with share options. I doubt he lost a single night's sleep over the situation but it gave him a little story to tell people.
