Radiator - need to bleed?

Every winter, some of my radiator accumulates air, so need to be bled via radiator key. If I left it as it is, am I saving gas? I do realise the room won't get warm:D

Hi QQuaver,
You should get more help with this on the In My Home board so I've moved it across for you.

no you won't be saving gas - if you want to do that, turn the themrostat down a degree or two."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

I believe air in the system accelerates corrosion so no don't leave it.
Have now bled the radiators;)May be worth topping up the level of central heating inhibitor in the system as inhibitors help to minimise air in the system. Top-up with the same brand of inhibitor already in the system. Too much inhibitor in the system doesnt matter...too little does. Alternatively drain the system down completely, use fernox/sentinel cleaner, flush out and refill and add same brand of inhibitor.
Thanks Andy:beer:0
