Hi,
I'm looking to transfer funds into a German bank account, there are so many companies offering international transfers, any recommendations?
Thank you.

Another plug for Transferwise, and specifically the Transferwise Borderless account if you plan to do regular transfers
Be aware though that none of the currency transfer firms offer FSCS protection.0 -
Consider Revolut too, they beat TransferWise for my last Euro transfer. No fees to convert and transfer up to £5k a month.0

You could open an FSCS-protected Starling current account, and transfer euros to a recipient for about the same rate as Transferwise.
Starling are also rolling out a euro account that lets you hold a balance in euros (like Transferwise Borderless does) but at the moment that's only available to customers who got themselves on the waiting list.0 -

No I couldn't open a Starling account since they STILL won't let people who happen to have a Raisin account apply for a Starling current account. Add to this that their CS is shocking, and Starling might just be the only current account provider I've never held an account with!
Although it might be(come) a viable option for non-Raisin people.0 -

Ah, I meant a more generalised 'you', but I do sympathise with you for this endless Raisin / Starling hassle!0 -
To set the record straight: Although they didn't tell me as promised, Starling have finally fixed the issue now and my application is now in the workslondoninvestor wrote: »Ah, I meant a more generalised 'you', but I do sympathise with you for this endless Raisin / Starling hassle!

I second Transferwise/Revolut for foreign currency transfers. Otherwise check out the following: https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/banking/foreign-currency-exchange/0
