HSBC Graduate Account - What happens after 2 years

Hi all, I currently have a graduate account with HSBC which had its roots as a basic/youth account from when I was 14. I had graduated in June 2017, which I was automatically moved from a student account to a graduate one.
What is still unclear is: would my account revert to become a bog-standard current account. I would also eligible for an Advance account based on the income required.
Would they be kind enough to move me automatically to advance or just move to standard?:think:
It would be useful to have the 5% saving and Global view on my account...

Presumably the free overdraft facility will end.
Are you already using the 3% option?
Are you already paying at least £1750 a month into the account?
If so, you may find that you will be offered the Advance account.
Otherwise, ask at your branch.0 -

When I had a graduate account it was "downgraded" to a standard Bank account when the two years were finished, I hadn't quite paid off the overdraft by then so I was then charged for the overdraft so I paid it off using another account and then, rang to upgrade the account to advance as my student loan and payments paying off the overdraft was accepted as regular payments they did this while I was on the phone, which then allowed me to open the advanced savings accounts.
I don't think they will automatically upgrade it to advance from graduate but to standard account and if you continue to use the account you may get an offer in time to upgrade automatically, but its not guaranteed.
