Carpet remnants, sell or donate?

I had some carpet fitted and they didn't take away the excess carpet.
There are two rolls, one is 78cm wide and maybe 3-4 meters (hard to unroll to check) and one is 108cm wide and maybe 2-3 meters.
They RRP at around £35/square meter
Should I try to sell them for a few quid, or are they just worthless and I will offer to donate before taking them to the tip?
Many thanks

You would need to measure the length to offer the carpet remnants for sale. Might they be suitable for hallways and stairs?
How you choose to dispose of them is a personal decision, based on your financial position, values and spare time.
I would not want to send brand new furnishings to landfill, so would likely offer the carpet remnants to local charities. I am particularly thinking of organisations helping care leavers or other adults who have been homeless or lost everything furnish new accommodation.

Our local dog and cat sanctuary accepts new offcuts as linings for cages, dog boxes, cat nests etc.
Often too charity shops will happily take them which is when I buy them for doormats to stop my collies muddying up my cream coloured floor tiles (yes, I know...! :-) )0 -
You could put them on Freecycle, on your local Facebook group if there is one. That's how I got rid of some offcuts recently. For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple and wrong.0

Had my two sizeable off cuts made into rugs by a carpet whipping service, just google for "carpet whipping service" for the area you live in.0

Thanks for the replies. I'll ask at my local charity shop, if they don't want it I'll put it on gumtree or something0

Put it on Gumtree or Freecycle. One's man's trash is another man's treasure....0

If you have space in a loft you might want to keep some if carpet gets damaged. Otherwise I just put most stuff on freecycle.0
